Join us in this five day long retreat, directed by our spiritual directors here at Galilee.
Retreat in an environment of silence, as part of a praying community discerning the ways of God through prayer. Each day you will meet with your Spiritual Director to speak of your life and prayer.
Your director will ask questions, give you scripture passages or suggest other ways to pray. You will spend the next 24 hours praying, walking on the grounds of Galilee, napping or just being quiet. Then you will report to your guide about your day.
A Directed Retreat provides you with individual direction on Sacred Scripture. Our chapel, lounge and beautiful grounds provide you with prayerful spaces. The Eucharist is celebrated daily along with Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament. The labyrinth and land itself offer you new opportunities to discover God’s presence in all things.

Marie Morgan
Marie Morgan is a retired Nurse who lives in Arnprior. She is an active Oblate Associate, a certified Spiritual Director and Yoga teacher. When Marie is not traveling with her husband she offers yoga sessions at Galilee, assists with spiritual direction and has led retreats. She is also busy with her grandchildren and family in normal times.
Fr. Richard Kelly, OMI
Fr. Richard Kelly, OMI is a Missionary Oblate of Mary Immaculate and Jesuit trained in the Spiritual Exercises of St Ignatius out of Guelph Centre of Spirituality. He celebrates 40 years as a spiritual Director including the training of spiritual directors. His pastoral ministry finds expression in Formation, Health Care, High School, Parish and Retreat/Renewal.
Fr. Roy Boucher, OMI
Roy Boucher is an Oblate of Mary Immaculate with over 50 years of experience in spiritual animation and religious formation, group process facilitation, leadership, and retreat/renewal ministry across Canada, in the USA, the Dominican Republic, Peru and Lesotho, Africa.
Sr. Mary-Catherine Kelley, GSIC
Sr. Mary-Catherine Kelley, GSIC has experience in Spiritual Direction and Directed Retreats in Ontario, British Columbia, Newfoundland and Michigan. She has also engaged in the training and supervision of Spiritual Directors.
Dolores Hall
Dolores Hall, coming to us from Ottawa, retired now from full time work at renewal centres in St. John’s, NL and Kingston, ON, has been doing retreats and on-going spiritual direction for 40 years. She is delighted to join our team for our summer retreat.
Anne Taylor, GSIC
Anne, is a Grey Sister of the Immaculate Conception, currently residing in Pembroke Ontario. Anne has been engaged part-time in retreat and ongoing spiritual accompaniment for many years while ministering as a parish pastoral associate for six years, in Grey Sister Formation or Leadership and at our Kairos Spirituality-for-Social Justice Centre at the Bronson Centre in Ottawa.
