Date: October 21-22, 2022
Each year the pace of life increases, new challenges appear, and peace becomes more a wish than a reality. This contemplative retreat will focus on how Jesus sent the Holy Spirit (Jn.19-23) to transform the fearful apostles hiding behind locked doors. With the Holy Spirit they became bold risk takers grounded in a deep peace unshaken even by imprisonment, violence and death. As the apostles, we will open our hearts to a peace deeper than fear, a peace that heals our hurts, and the empowering Spirit that sends us forth on our unique mission.
Fr. Matt Linn S.J. will be leading this retreat virtually and retreatants are welcome to gather at Galilee to be a part of a praying community or to join virtually from your own homes.
